Well is a self-watering terracotta planter.

The pot is unglazed as the porosity of terracotta helps water and air circulate around the roots. A nylon wick works as an extension of the plant's roots and draws water from the reservoir.

The bottom tray is glazed to hold water, and to create a contrast in materiality.
